Speaking during the Africa Cinema Summit in Accra, Ghana, in October, the actor revealed his plans to establish a film studio in Tanzania, marking the first step in a decade-long commitment to bolster filmmaking across Africa.
Elba’s vision goes beyond building infrastructure; it involves immersing himself in the culture and communities that inspire authentic storytelling. He plans to relocate to Africa within the next decade, intending to live in several cities, including Accra, Freetown, and Zanzibar.
